David Drum is one of the few polish dark progressive dj's. For the last 2 years he has played
at the biggest polish underground parties. Hi is also a common guest in clubs in Czech Republic.
His mixes are well known for its rare and sophisticated tracks. Dark deep techy progressive,
often with vocals - this is music You can expect in David's mixes.
David is 25 years old. Had been born and brought up in Ruda Slaska in the south of
Poland. With this city are also connected his first music experiences: first as a
collector of records and audio technology lover, next as one of the most famous club dj's in
the south of Poland.
In 2001 in one of the viennese dj record stores, David found a record which fixed a direction
in his playing: Lexicon Avenue - Why R U Here. That piece's caused that David interested in
progressive house genre. Therefore, the music he plays is mostly techy deep & dark progressive,
but always in dance, accessible edition. His high music sensitivity and careful records
selection allow him to satisfy clubbers who have a liking in underground sounds and in more
commercial side of the club music. David's favourite labels: Forensic, Q Records, RPO Traxx,
and producers: Chris Scott, Pierre Jerksten, Sander Kleinenberg.
David made his debut as a dj in 2003 in Forte club, it was a party organized by Silence
Agency. Several months later he was a guest in series of parties Midnight Groove - well known
for their underground character. Collected
experience in that time, allowed him to play at one of the most respected club in nothern Poland -
Inqbator. In that club, every month David plays in Silence! Tech Night parties. So far David's
been a resident dj in best silesian clubs: Pozytywka in Rybnik and ex.Lemon in Gliwice. In 2005
his dj-set 'From Dusk Till Dawn III' was broadcasted on 1st Program of Polish Radio, later David
was also a guest in that radio in Warsaw. Currently, beside playing in polish and foreign clubs, David
also organizes parties.
