Shivers - hairs on the back of your neck - hands in the air - reaching for the lasers - losing your mind - rushing to the music - just some of the side effects of listening to Egyptian duo Aly & Fila in full flow on the dance floor. Since they burst into the international clubbing consciousness with their massive hit Eye of Horus back in 2003 they have been a full-on inspiration to clubbers and DJs alike. Their gorgeous, euphoric, uplifting blend of sweeping trance has seen them rise to A-list status alongside the likes of Armin, Blank & Jones, Johan Gielen, Tall Paul and more. At the forefront of the next generation of dance music superstars, they've already broken through into the UK, Europe and Asia. Goodgreef, Clockwork Orange, Gatecrasher, Ministry of Sound, The Gallery, Renaissance, The Synidicate, Freefall At The Arches, Off The Rails, Peach, the Zurich Street Parade, A State Of Trance 300 Party, the En-trance Festival - they've all fallen before the duo in a sensational sweep of dance floor domination. Tracks like Eye of Horus, Spirit of Ka, A Dream Of Peace, Ankh - Breath of Life and Thebes have won them worldwide critical acclaim from the press and fellow artists. Their remix work in 2007 alone is staggering, putting their touch to tracks like 'Whatever - Lost Witness vs Sassot', 'Why - FKN* ft Jahala', 'Tears of Hope - Deems' and more. Now as 2008 and the rest of the world beckons, Aly & Fila step things up once again. Two huge releases - 'Lost Language' and 'How Long' - due out on the almighty Armada label; their own imprint Offshore Music label with production partner Andy Prinz pioneering new sounds and artists; listeners around the world tuning in to DI.FM to listen to their Future Sound Of Egypt radio show; and an international diary at bursting point should propel them into the stratospheric heights of superstardom. But while all this goes on around them, they still remain two of the most down-to-earth, friendly guys you could meet, bonded through a passionate love of trance music and the culture that goes with it. However high they go, however big they become, wherever the music takes them, they will always see themselves as just a part of the bigger picture, the most important aspect of all - the dance floor. With that in mind, join them as they take you on a journey through some of the biggest tracks to hit in 2007 and a hand-picked selection of new tracks that will blow your weekend away in 2008. Prepare for those shivers, feel the hairs on the back of your neck, raise your hands in the air and reach for the lasers, lose you mind and rush to the music because this, ladies and gentlemen, is Aly & Fila!!!!

Amr Mohey
 |
If your passion is house music and you're tuned in to the underground scene, then you've probably stumbled across the name Amr Mohey. Coming from Cairo, Egypt and inspired by the greats, Amr has played most sub-genres of house music. He is currently focusing his mixing and production style on fusing the melodies of progressive house with the unpredictable beats and percussion of Tech.
As a producer and remixer, Amr is involved with many indie electronic music labels around the world. He is always working with new up and coming talents, showing his support by remixing and collaborating. Also spending time on his own track productions, his aim and goal is to add fascinating elements to his composing style as well as working on his first artist album.
In the beginning, Amr discovered electronic music through clubbing and soon started organizing events and private parties, hosting himself and other local DJs. Self taught, he realized that not only listening, but creating and playing his own music is even more rewarding, and the passion more intense. He found great satisfaction in making people happy through his music and now has exceptional crowd control. Amr teamed up with good friend and fellow DJ, Slim Nasr to create the unstoppable sound of The S'n'S Brothers. Often playing back to back at many gigs all over Egypt, they are said to be the perfect musical duo. Their music is so diverse; one set can take you on a journey through serious dance action, emotion and adrenalin! Amr has also shared the decks with international talents such as DJ Balthazar, Paul Rogers, Andrew K, Dom Kane, Tarkan, Vsag and many others, resulting in acquiring huge presence and recognition among dance music followers. He has also built a strong online fan base due to his numerous sets played on online radio stations like Mental Rhythm Radio X in the USA, Tribalmixes Radio, Dance Radio in Greece and ADN Alternative in Argentina. As well as being featured on Cairo's local radio station 104.2 Nile FM.
As for the not-so-far future, Amr hopes to experience the electronic music scene all over the world. On top of supporting local artists in Egypt, he also has plans to create his own label to help locate and uncover new talents in dance music. He knows that this type of music is very artistic and there is a lot of effort going in to producing and mixing it, and at the same time it's good for the soul. As much as he enjoys making music, it's not just a hobby; it's a life style that he intends to keep.

Hassan Rassmy
 |
Being a musical enthusiast for as long as he can remember, Hassan was inspired by the first Midi Controller he had since he was 9, he discovered the joy of underground electronic music in the end of the 90's. By '98, Hassan was introduced to underground rave parties and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere, the people and most importantly, the music.
His feelings for electronic music started to grow and soon evolved into a great passion. At the end of '2001, together with his friends, Hassan started dabbling in party promotions and focusing more on his music production along with his studies (Computer Science Engineering) which was very hard to compromise between them. Also he had to give a short break to complete his military service (September 2006 ? November 2007).
Having experienced progressive house music mostly on the dance-floor, Hassan started to prefer the kind of uncompromising house that would fill your body with energy and make you want to continue dancing. If it had a rough edge to it, it was even better. This simple preference is the foundation of what Hassan works very hard to give every dance floor.
With his blend of energetic, progressive and pumping beats Hassan has gotten great responses from all kinds of dance floors. He also got great feedbacks and support for his production from big named Djs/Producers who had been his inspiration like Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Moshic, Martin Garcia, Powerplant, John Morgan, Tarkan, Gustavo Di Tomasso, and the list goes on.
Hassan is also being supported from his friends who had play a big role in his musical & Djing career like Julio Largente, dj denKo, Rezo, Gerardo Boscarino, Johan Nilsson, Josel and many more.
Starting as a strictly underground DJ & Producer, spinning at loads of local parties, Hassan has gone from strength to strength. In March 2008 he started his own show on RadioDeepSounds called ?gSounds From Desert?h which got great feedbacks from listeners.
Hassan will be launching his new show ?gThe Passage?h with his Greek friend dj denKo on Frisky Radio starting the 14th of July.
His dream is to play and be heard by as many people as possible with his unique style and production.

Dr.K & Nii vs Shiha
 |
With his obsession with music at an early age, pushed him to take his first little steps in the music industry, at some point you have to start with something. Shiha started his way with piano lessons at the age of 7, building his music skills from an early age. As time went by more was yet to come. Spent a year in a military academy where he learned how to play the trombone. Shiha was always influenced by dance and electronic music, which led him into the DJ world. Along the way Shiha started learning all he could about music production, teaching himself, practicing everyday till he developed and mastered his own unique progressive house/trance sounds. Shiha finished his first track "Beneath the sound" and collaborated with his friend Ismail and produced their first vocal track "Only you" Featuring Elly while attending the University of Kansas. Both tracks got great support from the worldwide known DJs Aly & Fila, which led him to continue producing and created the Trio of Dr. K & Nii Vs. SHIHA, producing and remixing for artists such as Tone Depth, Calinte & Salinas, Chris Cargo, Ritmo Playaz, DJ Tarkan, Sergio Garcia and many other DJs. Their latest hits includes "Am Alive" which featured the magical voice of Sarah Blacker, "Am Alive" was featured on Andy Moor's Latest compilation "Breaking the Silence Vol. 1" released by Armada. "Am Alive" also got great support from Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Matt Darey and lots more…
