Dale Middleton is now established as the one to watch in the current melodic house scene. His first run of releases in 2012 were snapped up by Lowbit, Outside the Box & Sound Avenue with tracks last year released on labels such as Systematic, SexOnWax, Perspectives Digital, Dopamine & Mirabilis Records. This saw Dale’s music being played all over the world gaining him some huge support from artists such as John Digweed, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Above & Beyond, Guy J, Agoria. Now as an established artist Middleton’s tracks and mixes receive regular heavy support from radio stations such as Frisky, Proton, GWM Capital FM and Generate Project.
In his early days influenced by the French house scene Middleton started to develop his own musical taste, playing small house parties and events for his friends, but soon his direction started to shift. With tracks being released on labels such as Bedrock & Renaissance, and DJ’s such as John Digweed, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Carl Cox all catching his ear, he has now formed his own style of house using strong melodies and complimenting bass lines. Using his unique style and distinctive blend of DJ’ing Dale has now played all over the world, this includes a very successful Tour of India in late 2013, a guest appearance at Bloque Festival (Greece) in the summer and also at various Clubs & venues across his home in the UK, most notably at the Bedrock Records Easter Party.
With his monthly show Subsidence Sounds being broadcast across the world on several high profile radio stations and downloadable as a podcast within iTunes Middleton is constantly impressing new fans and followers. Massive hype from big name DJ’s and labels fighting to snap up his latest tracks has put Dale into one of the underground stars of Electronic Music.
Born and raised in the Ruhr-Area Marc had contact to electronic music very early. From the middle eighties on until 1993 Synthie-Pop and New Wave, with bands like New Order and Depeche Mode, influenced his musical tendency.
Turning towards to Techno/Rave happend by attending the “Mayday” 1993. During the following 15 years many other genres like Trance, House and other electronic styles played a greater role in his musical career.
After all the years of consuming music Marc decided to change the sides in the end of 2009. Due to Progressive and Tech House Marc’s desire to bundle his musical emotion and transport them to the audience in his sets and mixes grew. In the first few month in 2010 Marc played for several internet radio stations already. After first contact to friskyRadio he focussed on this station. The nomination as “Artist Of The Week” in August 2010 meant the highlight of that year for Marc.
The first live performances as well as his own show on friskyRadio set the first remarkable points in 2011.
