Cassino & Labèn, or rather Andrea Cassino and Alex Labèn, were born in the small town of located in the heart of Italy, where they presently reside. The pair met in 1999, while the two were working as DJ and PR in the same club. Right from the beginning, their friendship, the same way of thinking, the same feelings about music turned into real passion. The mutual understanding between the two turned out to be highly positive and driven by an uncontrollable will to do something tangible, they began their project called Cassino & Labèn, in 2001.

Privately organized evenings and parties with friends, their project was tirelessly gaining ground in the Italian underground scene. Because of their increasing popularity, in 2003 they began to cooperate with Intooitiv Crew, organizing one night at the Ex-Mud club Fiorentino, where they stayed till the beginning of the summer 2004. In winter 2006 Cassino & Labèn have participated to Elettrowave Challenge '06 where they won the first place in this competition. During the Challenge they have played their live set around some important clubs like Bari (The Flame), Bologna (Cassero).

Their live sets composed in Ableton Live double laptop performace, consist of an endless excursion among different sound combinations, from break beat to deep, from progressive to electronic house, providing an overwhelming voyage to discover new elegant and exquisite sonorities. Not to forget that the project Cassino & Labèn began with the union between producer (Andrea Cassino) and DJ (Alex Laben) and this is the reason why their expressive method is always changing.

Cassino & Labèn got another major break. Babylon Records released the track Leaving Panic Behind with the Flash Brothers on the remix. It gained massive support from major artists such as Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Markus Schulz, Gabriel & Dresden, John 00 Fleming, John Askew, Paulo Mojo, Hernan Cattaneo and Ozgur Can to name a few. The remix was picked up by Ferry Corsten in his mix CD, Passport: Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Cassino & Labèn also collaborate with Claude Ma-Te too, under the name of Arenok. In 2005 their first track entitled Free Yourself, was released on Electronic Elements (Armada). Free Yourself was played and reviewed by several artists (Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Perry O'Neil, Stefano Greppi, Mas Collective, etc...). In March Free Yourself also made it to Markus Schulz mix compilation, Miami '05. The Stel remix (Audiotherapy).

All these experiences come through in their productions and with time they have obtained the sounds which were closest to their inner thoughts.

LIEBBA starts to cultivate his music passion since he was a child , when he received as a present a small collection of vinyl 33�h�cGrowing up start to love all kind of music . At the beginning he was attracted by the music listening the biggest Italian songwriters, as Fabrizio De Andre (he�fs still has a big respect for him). The music passion push him to play other instruments more than guitar, his desire to listen always new music without focalize in just one style and type of music landscape. Firstly he was kidnapped from the melodic�fs line of trance, at fifteen starts to love all kind of electronic music, he was so fashinated by all the infinity kinds of sounds and his power to give a lot of different emotional moods. His passion take him to start as a producer and having particular attention to the experimental contamination on the rhythmic that allow him to produce is own music. The meaning of his productions and selections of music is into the search of new sonority that push to the dreamlike�fs limits, where the music become space, enthralling emotions, the doors of a parallel world. His productions are a mix of elements coming from different kind of electronic music even if he take more attentions to the minimal-tech sonority, sometimes with a deep influence, he wants to transmit by his music the bag of emotions and moods as every artists give and receive from the underground music and he�fs improving productions by productions.

Working in different projects with lot of different artist he wants give his best support to the electronic movement by productions and organizing party. In 2009 start to released his first productions on Radioctiva Records.
