NICOLAS CORONEL PRESENTS MESTIZA RECORDS

This show has been created by the young argentinian dj and producer Nicolas Coronel, to spread the best of the electronic music scene, from new talents of the southamerican underground, from the world & artists that are already know by the old school scene. Always focusing on the progressive, house, deep and dark sounds not leaving behing the good quality that other genres can always provide. The show will be twice a month and it will contain 1 or 2 hour exclusive sets by Nicolas Coronel showing the last and upcoming releases of Mestiza among others, and also special guests including artists from the Mestiza rooster, friends dj´s and producers of the national and international scene.

Nicolas Coronel

Nicolas Coronel was born on the 17th of March, 1980, in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. From as young as he can remember he has had a love for music. The youngest child in his family, he was influenced heavily by the sounds of the 80s that his older sisters were listening to in those days.He always had a passion for clubs and dance music. He first went to a club at age 11 and was instantly attracted to the DJ booth and equipement.

Nicolas was resident dj in the best clubs in his city like Sobremonte, Divino Dance club, El Divino Beach (La Caseta), Tresor among others and he has played in the Mar del Plata Dance Parade Festival, the most important event on Argentina's Atlantic coast, since 2002 in all editions, in the Ibiza summer dance tour in 2003, and in the summer of 2005 he was in the main stage lineup for Argentina's first ever Mixtronica Marlboro, only the third in the world. He has shared the booth with many famous DJs in the electronic scene, names like Martin Garcia, Gabo, Parks & Wilson, Jason Jollins, Ricky Ryan, Blake Baxter, Spitfire, Carlos Diaz, Guille Quero, Alto Camet and many others.

Though still a young producer, his works are being noticed, his tracks already having been played by Hernán Cattaneo, G-Pal, Kosmas Epsilon, Chris Fortier, V-Sag, Martin Garcia , Dousk, Andrew K, Dj Tarkan, Nick Warren, Randall Jones, Deepmariano, Derek Howell, 16bit lolitas, Blue room Project, Chris Micali, Eelke Kleijn, Jason Jollins, Anil Chawla among others. His original productions are part of the top ten downloads with the 1ş place in pages like Resonantvibes.com (1 continuous month), Release records, Juno records and others. Also he did remixes for artists like Kosmas Epsilon (Greece) signed by Heavy Rotation for his famous track Innocent thoughts, Jens Gad (Enigma), Dj Tarkan (Turkey), V-sag (Greece), Mike Brin (Russia), Nikos Diamantopoulos (Greece), Josel & Pedro (England) and others. In June of 2006 his track ¨ Resonance ¨ was including by G -Pal in the new compiled ¨G -Pal 02 ¨, released on Swift records, sharing this compiled with names like Peace Division, Tiefschwartz ft. Tracy Thorn, Pole Folder, G –Pal, Jody Wisternoff, Dousk, Mikael Delta, Buick Project among others big names.

At 27 years old and a DJ for 12, Nicolas continues to watch closely all types of house music, always exploring the world of electronic music, the scene and play in new clubs inside and abroad of his country.
